Looking Forward To Mother’s Day 2012!
With the New Year fast approaching I wanted to get in early and give you the dates of the big day, Mother’s Day. In 2012 Mother’s Day will be on March 18th in the UK and on May 13th in the US. Sorted!
As a bonus I thought I’d include this picture (courtesy of classic film scan Flickr) of Judy and Liza, one of the most famous mother and daughter duos in the world. It’s a sweet photo I think.
Enjoy your holidays, I’m sure a lot of you will be spending time with your mums so be sure to make the most of them, they deserve it!

A Warm Hug of Welcome
Here it is, the first post on A Mothers Day Celebration, a little bit of text from me Pippa, or Pip if you prefer, and the rest a rather neat picture. Cool, huh?
So this is the first of many posts that will begin a year round celebration of Mum’s. Obviously the big day is mothering Sunday, but, mum’s are pretty cool and there is no reason not to celebrate them day in day out, we’re talking 24/7!
Needless to say the plan is to cover everything mum relevant, whether it is gifts, stories or what celeb mums are up to now!? There is only one rule; it must be about mums…
